Alfred Haddon, Jr. of Abbeville, South Carolina was called home to be with the Lord June 1, 2022. He was born May 18, 1936, to the late Alfred, Sr. and Jessie Battle Haddon. Alfred was affectionately known as Junior by those who knew him.
Alfred grew up in Abbeville County and was educated in the Abbeville County School System. He was faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Abbeville, South Carolina and he worked for Modern Age Heating and Air until he retired. He enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with his family and riding out with his good friend Mr. Honey. He and Mr. Honey never left Greenwood without stopping by Bojangles—he really loved eating Bojangles chicken.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents Alfred, Sr. and Jessie Battle Haddon; his brothers, Walter and George Haddon and one sister, Martha Hall.
Alfred leaves to cherish fond memories two sisters, Lorraine Tillman and Apostle Deborah Chiles, both of Abbeville, South Carolina; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
