Alfred Jerome Hill

Alfred Jerome “Guy” Hill, 54, was born on May 27, 1969 in Abbeville, SC to the late James and Martha Haddon Hill, Sr. Alfred entered into eternal rest Sunday August 13, 2023 at Hospice House of the Piedmont as his sister held his hand. He was preceded in death by his brother Calvin E. Hill

Alfred was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he once was on the choir under the leadership of Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. He was a 1988 graduate of Abbeville High School. Alfred was employed for 28 years at Flexible Technologies as a Wire Line Operator.

Alfred was a Sports Fanatic! He did not discriminate against any sport for he has too many hats, jerseys, & shirts to prove his loyalty from college sports to the pros. He watched all sports from football, basketball, baseball, boxing and golf. He was a Sports Analyst & could tell you all you needed to know about the sport (whether you agreed with him or not). But most of all he was a DIE HARD DALLAS COWBOY FAN!!! Alfred was the life of the party! He enjoyed hanging out with friends watching football and grilling!

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Ter’vant Hill, J’Varias Hill, both of Abbeville, SC, Jabari Polk, Alaysia Thomas, both of Greenwood SC; brother, James (Denise) Hill, Jr., of Greenwood SC; sister, Jessica (JayTee) Redwood, of Rock Hill, SC.; aunts, Apostle Deborah Chiles and Lorraine Tillman, both of Abbeville, SC. Alfred will truly be missed by his nieces and nephews along with many family and friends.
