Alvin Killingsworth, son of the late Cliff Killingsworth and Margie Lee Martin Killingsworth, was born on October 14, 1943. He departed this life on February 11, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was a graduate of J.S. Wright High. At an early age he joined Campfield Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Board. He joined the United States Army. He retired from Pirelli Cable and Abbeville County Convenience Centers.
Alvin enjoyed being around family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing “TONK” cards. He loved his sport teams: Clemson Tigers, San Fransico 49ers, LA Lakers, and LA Dodgers. He enjoyed watching black and white westerns on a color TV (what he called ShootEM UPs). He opened his house up to many family and friends that were reared up in his home.
He leaves to cherish his son Alvin (Michelle) O’Neal Killingsworth of Greenville, SC. Three daughter Alverna Enwright and Kelly Killingsworth of Abbeville, SC. Lori Dawson of Atlanta, GA. Nine grandchildren Jaelan, Jahnari, Nileak, Raekwon, Quentin, Christon, and TaLynn and two devoted granddaughters that were reared in the home Kellisha Killingsworth and Ava Agnew. Eight great grandchildren Uriah, Rylan, Isaih, Nalaiyah, Jayda, Arya, Maddison, and Quentin, Jr. One sister Annie Lee Terry of Abbeville, SC. Two brothers John (Martha) Killingsworth of Upatoi, GA and Claude Killingsworth of Greenwood, SC. Six sisters-in-laws Linda Killingworth of Greenwood, SC, Barbara Killingworth of Calhoun Falls, SC, Daisy Milon and Patricia Riley of Abbeville, SC and Mattie Hill of St. Albans NY, Diana (James) Troy, of Las Vegas, NV. One brother- in-law James Riley of Abbeville, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Mae Riley Killingsworth. Three brothers: Willie Killingsworth, Cleave Killingsworth, and Albert Killingsworth. One sister Elease Killingsworth Posey. Four sisters-in-laws Martha Killingsworth, Sylvia Killingsworth, Louise Holmes, and Annie Riley. Seven Brother-in-laws James Posey, Williams Riley, Robert Riley, David Riley, Leon Hill, George Milon, and Johnny Holmes.
