Carrie Lou (London) Hughey

Carrie Lou London Hughey, 90, departed this life on Thursday, May 28, 2026 peacefully at her home. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the parentage of the late William and Rebecca London.

Carrie was a member of Haigler Street Church of Christ. She retired from Milliken after 20 years. Carrie loved to fish and spend time with her family.

Carrie leaves to cherish her precious memories one son, Willie (Jenny) Hughey of Abbeville, SC; two daughters, Jackie Martin of the home, Clara Hughey of Colorado; one sister, Viginia Statom of Las Vegas, NV; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Samuel Statom of Las Vegas, NV; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Carrie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie Lee Hughey; her parents; two sons, Paul Hughey, Kevin Hughey; three brothers, Amos London, Foster London, David London; four sisters, Cleo Aiken, Mozelle Tucker, Eunice Bell Crawford. and Marggie Smith.
