Charles Burton Obituary
Mr. Charles Albert Burton, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, departed this life at the age of 62 on June 20, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born on April 20, 1962 to the late Joesph Burton and the late Thelma Jones Raiford. He was a graduate of Abbeville High School Class of 1981, and an employee of the Eaton Corporation in Hodges, SC.
He was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, Miami Dolphins, and Alabama Crimson Tide.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Angela Burton Blair and a nephew, De'Quavis "Black" Burton.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Candace Paul; granddaughters, Kajali and Sydnee Baylor; significant other, Brenda Mattison; two sisters, Shirley Jones Wideman, Debra (Tony) Walker; four brothers; Clarence Burton, Bobby Joe (Angela) Brown, Robert (Cynthia) Paul, and Joesph Wharton.
He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of family members and friends.
