It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clarence Christopher Brown, better known as, “Boo-Cat,” who departed this life on May 29, 2026 at the age of 48.
Born on June 27, 1977 in Greenwood, SC to Sarah “Juanita” Brown and Clarence Brown. Clarence was a 1997 Graduate of Calhoun Falls High School. After high school he received a Class A Commercial Driver’s Licensure from South Land driving academy in which he traveled the highways for 27 years operating 18-wheelers.
Clarence was a devoted father, brother, uncle, friend, and loved one to many. He lived a life marked by kindness, strength, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
Clarence was known for his sense of humor, dedication to family, strong work ethic, and generosity. He touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories. He had a deep love for sports, especially football and basketball. Whether he was cheering on his favorite teams, watching a game with family.
Clarence leaves to cherish his precious memories his parents; daughter, Tashara Brown; bonus daughter, Tori Jackson; bonus son, Gavin Jackson; one sister, Rhonda (Ben) D. Burns; a special friend, Hope Patterson; one niece, Kristen Burns; one nephew, Kayden Thomas; a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends.
Clarence was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Colin and Fannie Guillebeaux and paternal grandparents, Marshall and Mary C. Brown, Sr.
