Cleophas Cobb, Jr., affectionately known as Junebug, of 83 Thomson Circle, Abbeville, SC, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood, SC. He was born in Abbeville, SC on September 11, 1953 to the parentage of the late Cleophas and Alice H. Cobb.
Cleophas was a graduate of Dixie High School. He joined Fairfield Baptist Church at an early age. Cleophas dedicated many years of work to the forestry industry, as a logger. He met and married the love of his life, the late Stella M. Cobb.
Cleophas leaves to cherish his precious memories one daughter, Stacy Paul of Anderson, SC; two step-daughters, Gloria (James) Parkman of Greenwood, SC, Jacqueline Paul of Greenwood, SC; two bonus children reared in the home; three sisters, Elizabeth A. Cobb of Greenwood, SC, Alice (Simon) Allen, Linda Fuller both of Abbeville, SC; two granddaughters of Anderson, SC; three aunts, Mae Ossie Cobb, Dessie Lomax, Sallie Newman all of Abbeville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Cleophas was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, Kenisha McDuffie; and one brother, Willie L. Cobb.
