Cliff Orange Thomas was born on December 9, 1948 in Lincolnton, Georgia to the loving parents of Sam George Thomas, Sr. and Mary Lou Thomas. He took his final earthly breath and entered his eternal rest on Tuesday afternoon, July 25, 2023 at McCormick Post Acute Care.
Cliff lived in Queens, New York, Miami, Florida, and Calhoun Falls, SC throughout his life.
Cliff leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Elizabeth (Zachary) Smith and Ivory (Kawanda) Thomas; two sons, Cliff Thomas, Jr. and Cliff Lewis Thomas; seven grandchildren, Aquitha Myers, Arjiron Thomas, Ahnaria Thomas, Nakiyah Thomas, Micah Thomas, Blue Thomas, Camryn Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Paige Porter, Kingston Thomas, Kamari Thomas, Dominick Fashaw; five sisters, Mary Ann Lee of Greenville, SC, Rosa Tutt of Calhoun Falls, SC, Bessie Stokes, Lillie Thomas, and Mary Driver all of Miami, FL; one brother, Braxton Richardson of Calhoun Falls, SC; one uncle, Grant Norman of Madison, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Major Thomas; parents, Sam George Thomas, Sr. and Mary Lou Thomas; four brothers, Samuel Thomas, Sam George Thomas, Jr., Frank Thomas, Eugene Thomas; and four sisters, Lessie Mae Ware, Bobbie Jean Lewis, Lillian Rea Williams, and Barbara Williams.
