Donald Brown

Mr. Donald Keith Brown, age 65, of 1 Woodview Lane, Apt. 34, Abbeville, South Carolina, passed away on November 3, 2025, at National Healthcare Corporation in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Ervin and Mary Brown and was born on May 5, 1960, in Abbeville, South Carolina.

A proud graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1978, Mr. Brown continued his education at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg before answering the call to serve his country. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1992, with his final duty station at Fort Hood, Texas.

Following his military service, Mr. Brown worked in several professions, including the trucking and textile industries, demonstrating dedication and a strong work ethic throughout his career.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dedrea Brown; one brother, Jeffrey Brown; two brothers-in-law, George Blackwell and Rev. Richard E. Temple, Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Jacqueline Brown.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: one daughter, Kamiyah Brown of Inman, SC; three sisters, Leslie B. Temple and Alice Brown (Rev. Charles) Evans, both of Greenwood, SC, Karen Blackwell of Abbeville, SC, one bonus sister, Donna Wallace of Marietta, GA; one brother, Darrell Brown of Durham, NC, and one bonus brother Todd (Pamela) Dawson of Rex, GA; one very special and loving aunt, Shirley Martin of Abbeville, SC; as well as a host of other relatives who will deeply mourn his passing.
