Edna Mae Bozeman

Edna Mae Bozeman, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and matriarch, peacefully entered eternal rest on February 1, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1946, and lived a life
marked by strength, perseverance, and an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ethel Foote Harris and the late Albert Harris; and by her siblings, the late Alvin Harris and the late Mary Chiles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Sara Hill of North Carolina and Junior Harris of Buffalo, New York.

A devoted and loving mother, Edna’s life was centered around her children and her faith. She is survived by her children:
Eric Bozeman of Buffalo, New York;
James Walker VII of Buffalo, New York;
Dwight Bozeman of Due West, South Carolina;
Richard Bozeman of Greenville, South Carolina;
Rulah Lindo (James Bozeman) of Asheville, North Carolina;
Christian Bozeman of Honea Path, South Carolina;
LaTece Bozeman of Buffalo, New York;
Latoya Bozeman of Belton, South Carolina;
Chandelle Rucker of Utica, New York;
and Taysheanna Berry of North Carolina.

She was also blessed with one grandchild, Eric Bozeman Jr., and two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Edna Mae Bozeman was a woman who loved the Lord deeply and lived her life anchored in Christ.Through trials and triumphs, Jesus was her portion, her strength, and her hope. She walked faithfully, endured patiently, and trusted God completely.

As Scripture declares:
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” — Matthew
25:21

And again,
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7

Edna has finished her race. She has kept the faith. She has earned her crown in Glory. Though we mourn her earthly absence, we rejoice in knowing she now rests in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones and clothed in eternal peace.
