Essie Joyce Foster

Essie Joyce Foster was born on November 16, 1946, in Lowndesville, South Carolina, to the late Isaac and Icie Foster, Sr. She was the tenth child of thirteen. Essie Joyce accepted Christ at an early age, and was of the Methodist Faith. She graduated from JS Wright High School class of 1964, and continued her education at Friendship Jr. College and Cleveland State University, where she received a bachelor's degree. Essie Joyce was employed at the Cleveland Clinic for many years in the medical research field and, she also was a License Practical Nurse. Upon her retirement, Essie returned to South Carolina where she enjoyed family.

Essie was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Icie  Foster, Sr.; sisters,  Allene Wilson, Mary Tinch, Ruth Walker, Hossie Belcher,  Annie Foster; brothers, Isaac Foster, James Foster, Joseph Foster William Bob Foster, and Donald Chrisley Foster.

Essie leaves to cherish her memories sisters, Pearl Wells , Judy (Whitt) Crawford; great nephew reared in the home, Corey Belcher; sister in laws; Elizabeth, Katherine, Deborah Foster; a host of nieces and nephews.
