Freddie Lee Wardlaw III was born February 21, 1996 in Edgewood, KY. He was the son of Yolanda Phipps and Freddie Wardlaw. Freddie took his final ride into paradise Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Freddie was a kind hearted Gentleman who loved his family and loved working with his hands. Freddie graduated from Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis, IN where he studied Diesel and Truck Service Technology. In 2021 he decided to take his expertise to Florida to be closer to his family. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Ritchey's Truck Repair in Mulberry, Florida.
Freddie was much more than a friend to many. He kept a smile on his face, always able to find common ground with everyone. He loved to ride his motorcycle which kept him light on his feet, and gave him a breath of fresh air. To many, he was the uncle or brother most people never had. He understood the value of friendship and loyalty and was always willing to listen to others without judgment.
Freddie is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Freddie Lee Wardlaw, Sr. and Robert Lee Phipps, Sr. and one uncle, Robert Lee Phipps Jr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents, Yolanda Phipps and Freddie (Rhonda) Wardlaw, grandmothers, Shirley Wardlaw and Barbara Phipps, siblings, Shayla (Kentavius), Shakeria, and Jerome, nieces and nephews, Malik, Khalil, Kamora, Jalayah, Jaionna, Je'Reiyah and Romiyah, uncles, Mark Phipps and Freddie Hunter, aunts, Christine Wardlaw and Brenda Hunter, Godbrother, Jamar Lee, Godson, Levi McGhee and a host of great aunts and great uncles.
