Mr. James ‘Bug” Bryant, Jr., 77, of 513 Darlington Street, Calhoun Falls, departed his life on August 24, 2022 at his home. James, born in Elberton, GA, was the son of the late Rena Bryant. He retired from Carbon Flooring Company and the town of Calhoun Falls.
In addition to his mother, Rena Bryant, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George R. Bryant and Robert C. “R. C.” Bryant; five sisters, Sarah J. Thomas, Charlie N. Norman, Ida Lee Bryant, Susie M. Bryant and Willie M. Tatum. Also, a special friend, Ms. Laura Emerson.
James “Bug” Bryant, Jr., leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sarah T. Bryant, his son, James Bryant, Sr., two step-daughters, Trita Touchette and Connie J. Jordan; one step-son, Ronald Touchette; seven sisters, Irene Bryant, Pearlie A. Bryant, Mozelle Bryant, Patricia D. Roundtree (Tracey), Frances M. Bryant, all of Calhoun Falls, SC; Mary E. Jackson (Johnny) of Abbeville, SC; Roberta Smith of Anderson, SC; three brothers, David L. Bryant (Bonnie), Michael Bryant and Tom A. Bryant, all of Calhoun Falls, SC; two grandchildren; M. C. Sanders of Calhoun Falls, SC, reared in the home and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
