Johnny A. Brown

Johnny A. Brown, 74, departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at AnMed Medical Center, Anderson, SC. He was born on September 25, 1950 in Abbeville, SC, to the parentage of the late Robert and Sarah Brown Thompson.

Johnny was a graduate of JS Wright High School. After graduating, he joined the US Navy, and was honorably discharged. Johnny spent most of his years working in the Textile Industry. He was a faithful member of New Faith Presbyterian Church.

Johnny leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved wife, Rebecca Brown; son, Carlos (Stacey) Brown; two brothers, Roy (Shirley) Brown, Willie Thompson; four sisters, Major Brown, Amanda (Larnell) Thompson, Geraldine (Walter) Washington, Gwendolyn Thompson; two grandchildren, Bryce Brown, Tyai Curry; one great grandchild, Skyla Epps; sister-in-law, Linda Killingsworth; brother-in-law, Randolph (Louella Patterson) Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
