Joycelyn Wilson Perkins 77, formally of Abbeville SC, Passed on October 4, 2019, at Argen Rehabilitation Center in New Haven, CT.
She was born on April 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late, Augustus and Frances Collier Wilson. Joycelyn graduated from J.S. Wright High School class in 1961.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton, Eddie, and Gus Wilson Jr.
She is survived by three children, Phillip, Peter and Patrick Perkins all of Connecticut, three grand children Maurice, Patrick and Jerome Perkins, four sibling, Fran Thomas, Evenston Ill, Carolyn Paul (Curtis) of Abbeville, SC, Nancy Wilson of Brooklyn, New York., and Samuel Wilson of Abbeville, SC; a sister-in -law Ida Wilson, and a aunt Maette Collier of Georgia and a host of Nieces, nephews and friends. Colonial Funeral Home is assisting the family in New Haven, CT.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Richie Funeral Home, 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm. Graveside service will be on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 12:00 noon, Harbison Cemetery in Abbeville. Richie Funeral Home will be assisting the family in Abbeville. The family is at the home, 411 Branch Street Abbeville.
