Lillie Sue (Tinch) Coleman

Mrs. Lillie T. Coleman, 70, of Abbeville, SC, departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Self Regional Hospital. She was born in Abbeville, SC on August 13, 1953 to the late Permelia W. and Bennie Frank Tinch. She was a member of St. Peter A.M.E. Church, and a 1971 graduate of Abbeville High School. She also attended Piedmont Technical College, majoring in Early Childhood Development. She retired from Burton Center in 2020. 

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert E. Coleman, Jr.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories one son, Deshon (Natalie) Mayta Tinch of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Siedah Romon Coleman of Gastonia, NC; one bonus son, Kelvin (Lamithia) Robinson of Covington, GA; one sister, Geraldine Tinch of Abbeville, SC; two brothers, Stanley Tinch of Killeene, TX, Gene (Denise) Tinch of Abbeville, SC; six grandchildren, Deshondra, Darrius, Deontee, Carrington, JaLeesa, Devin; five great grandchildren, Aa'Lani, Ellis, Karis, Karson, Issac; a very special "friend-sister," Ms. Wanda H. Glover; her "Academy Street Family;" and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She enjoyed jazz music, traveling, sports, shopping, and lottery tickets.
