Martha Catherine Killingsworth

Mrs. Martha Catherine Killingworth, 70, found eternal rest early Sunday morning on April 26, 2020 at her home.  She was born on December 29, 1949 to the late Joseph Young and the late Fannie Mae Wright Williams.  She was a member of Campfield Baptist Church and she worked for many years as a Corrections Officer at McCormick Correctional Institute.

     She leaves to mourn her passing a husband, Claude Killingsworth of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Consuelo Killingsworth of the home; two brother, Robert L. Williams and Ollie Ray Williams of Abbeville, SC; five sisters, Fritzella DeVaux of Columbia, SC, Geraldine Brownlee, Geneva Tate, Dorothy Coates and Lucille Melissa Fossett of Abbeville, SC; four grandchildren, Nicklaus Killingsworth, Natavia Jackson, Ny’Keara Jackson and Geodarius Wright;  one great grandchild, Nassir Amiyas Killingsworth; one half- brother, Derrick (Renee’) Young; one half-sister, Brunell (Melvin) Rawlinson and many other family members and friends.

     Martha was preceded in death by her parents; one son George Anthony Wright; one sister, Mary W. Crawford; two brothers, Bennie Lee Williams and James Roosevelt Williams.
