Martha Louise Williams

Martha Louise Williams, 69, passed on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Quiet Acres Assisted Living, Hodges, SC. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Pressley and Rosa Bell Jones Williams.

Martha received her education from Abbeville High School. She attended St. Paul AME Church. Martha obtained her cooking certification from Clemson University. She was employed for many years as a custodian in District 60. Martha enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving grandmother.

Martha leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Benita Williams of Greenwood, SC; two brothers, Eugene Williams, Charles Williams of Abbeville, SC; three sisters, Mary W. (George) McCier, Agnes Jackson of Abbeville, SC, Dora Kennedy of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Jaliyah Calhoun and Zatavia Calhoun of Abbeville, SC, which were reared in the home, Camden Williams, Jayceon Caldwell of Greenwood, SC, Skylar Bryant of Abbeville, SC; one great grandchild, Avani Lewis of Abbeville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Pressley and Rosa Bell Jones Williams and one daughter, Tasha Williams.
