Michael Bryant, Sr.

Mr. Michael Bryant, 60, of 211 Lee St., Calhoun Falls, SC, departed this life on August 6, 2025 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont, Greenwood, SC.

Born on October 17, 1964 to the late Rena Bryant and Collie Lee Blackwell.

He’s a member of McAllister Chapel, Mt. Carmel, SC. He worked for the state for many years. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Sarah J. Thomas, Ida Lee Bryant, Charlie Mae Norman, Susie M. Bryant, Willie Mae Tatum; five brothers, George R. Bryant, James Bryant, Sr., James Calhoun, William Calhoun, Robert (RC) Bryant; and a very special aunt. Ms. Margie Marrison.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories a daughter, Ashley (Chauncy) Bryant-Eddy of Hopkins, SC; two sons, Michael (Tiffany) Bryant, Jr., Santonio (Toya) Tillman both of Greenwood, SC; seven sisters, Irene Bryant, Pearlie A. Bryant, Patricia (Tracery) Roundtree, Mozelle Bryant, Frances Bryant all of Calhoun Falls, SC, Mary E. (Jhonny) Jackson Abbeville, SC, Roberta Bryant of Anderson, SC; two brothers, David Lee (Bonnie) Bryant, Tom A. Bryant of Calhoun Falls, SC; his former wife, Verna Dean Bryant, the mother of his children who continued to be a valued part of the extended family; brother-in-law, Henry Lee Thomas of Calhoun Falls, SC; sister-in-law, Linda Calhoun of Mt. Carmel, SC; seven grandchildren, Lacy Eddy, Bailey Eddy, Makenzie Bryant, Makaela Bryant, Noah Jones, Santavaion Tillman, Saniyah Tillman; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom will truly miss his laugh and smile.
