Norris Bernard Gray, Sr.

Norris Bernard Gray, Sr., departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026 peacefully in his home. He was born in Abbeville, SC on July 13, 1955 to the late Ruben Bowie, Sr. and Florence Gray. 

Norris was a graduate is JS Wright High School. He joined and served in the US Army. Norris furthered his education at Piedmont Technical College obtaining his Associate's Degree.

Norris leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved wife, Carolyn Elain Aiken; one daughter, Tiffany Elmore of Ware Shoals, SC; two sons, Norris B. Gray, Jr. of Evans, GA, Jeffrey L. Gray of Abbeville, SC; four brothers, Ruben Bowie, Jr. of Abbeville, SC, Michael (Linda) Bowie, of Iva, SC, Herman (Vivian) Bowie of Marietta, GA, Wayne (Tarsha) Bowie of Lawrenceville, GA; six sisters, Dearlyn (Wilbert) Coleman of Abbeville, SC, Geraldine (James) Cade of Calhoun Falls, SC, Beverly (Rev. James) Brownlee of Hodges, SC, Bridgette (Johnny) Jones of Fayetteville, NC, Debbie (Terry) Wright of Lincolnton, GA, Valerie (Clifton) Martin of Calhoun Falls, SC; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Norris was preceded in death by his parents.
