Obituary

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Mr. Olin D. (Talley) Sanders passed two days before his 83rd birthday. Born in Abbeville County, South Carolina on September 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Eugene and Ceola Lyons Sanders.

He was a lifelong member of Glover A.M.E. Church where he served as head Steward, Class Leader, a member of the Finance Committee, Choir member and male chorus member.

He was married to the love of his life, Evelyn Hunter Sanders for 57 years until her passing on March 6, 2017.

He worked as a cement foreman for Holiday Construction Co., before his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory three son, Charles Turman of Calhoun Falls, Garrett (Hattie) Sanders of Florence, SC., a special niece raised in the home, Melissa(Gregory) Allen of the home; a special nephew raised in the home, Charles Rogers, Jr. of Fountain Inn, SC; a great niece, Kamira Baker of the home and a great nephew, Tevin Richardson of the home; two sister, Mary Frances Sanders of Thomasville, NC and Willie Mae Sanders of Calhoun Fall, SC; three brother in- laws, Charles Rogers, Sr., Soloman Hunter and Singleton Hunter all of Calhoun Falls, SC. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Olin was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two brothers, James Jim Sanders and Charlie Melvin Sanders; a sister, Betty S. Rogers; one brother in-law, Louie Hunter; two sisters in-laws, Amanda Hunter and Beatrice Bradford.
