Greenwood SC- Omar Chaney, 57, of 121 Cothran Drive departed this life on Thursday October 30, 2025, At MUSC in Charleston SC.

Born in Philadelphia PA, he was the son of Barbara Williams Holmes and the late Marvin Holmes Sr. He is preceded in death by three brothers Kahali Chaney, Marvin Holmes Il and Martez Holmes SR.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Barbara Holmes of Greenwood and one brother Ralph Chaney of Greenwood SC, and niece like a sister Adriana Renee Holmes, Aubrey Ryinn Holmes, Aubree Rayne Holmes and Melanie Holmes Schultz of Greenwood SC. Nephew Martez Jesse Holmes of Greenwood SC. One sister-in-law Tara Holmes of Greenwood SC. One uncle Willie Williams of Newberry SC, and two Aunts Mary Butler, Clinton SC, Carrie Hall, Joanna SC.
