Sallie Mary (Sanders) Rayford

Sallie M. Rayford, 96, of Abbeville, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the home of her grandson. She was a widow of the late Julius Rayford, and the daughter of the late Minnie Elmore and Henry Woody.

Sallie leaves to cherish her fond memories two sons, Larry (Ruell) Rayford, Terry (Mary) Rayford both of Abbeville, SC; a granddaughter reared in the home, Michelle (O’Neal) Killingsworth; 16 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; a special friend, Jonelle White and children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, other relatives, and friends.

Sallie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four sons, James Rayford, Jr., David R. Rayford, Edward Rayford, and Clerence Rayford.
