Sarah Jane (Paul) Hunter

Sarah Jane Paul Hunter, 71, of 121 Raintree Lane, Greenwood, SC entered into eternal rest on September 12, 2023 at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the parentage of S. A. and Sarah Bell Starks Paul.

Sarah was employed in the Public School System of District 50, where she later retired.

Sarah leaves to cherish her memories two sons, William Paul of Abbeville, SC and Kelvin Hunter of Pickens, SC; grandsons, Quintavis Paul of Abbeville, SC and Tyler Ryan Walker of Savannah, GA; two great grandchildren; best friend, Mrs. Deloris Warren of Greenwood, SC; long time beautician of over 29 years, Eva Higgins of Greenwood, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives that will truly miss her.

Sarah was preceded in death by one brother, John Paul; eight sisters, Geneva Scott, Lillie Miller, Martha Starks, Addie Blanch Paul, Essie Bell Lyons, Susie Mae Williams, Mattie Ruth Scott, Emma Frances Paul; two nephews, Hugh Starks, Sr. and James Paul, Sr.; and two nieces, Stella Cobb and Sharon L. Williams.
