Willie James Tillman

Willie James Tillman, 74, departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born in Abbeville, SC to the parentage of the late Josh and Eleanor Tillman.

Willie attended the public schools in Abbeville County. He attended his family’s home church, Hudson Chapel AME Church. Willie dedicated many years of his career as a logger. 

Willie leaves to cherish his precious memories two sons, Deatrick Calhoun, James Calhoun; two daughters, Cynthia Elmore, Gaytrell Calhoun; three brothers, Melvin Tillman, Allen Tillman, Tim Tillman; six sisters, Alice (Willie) Harling, Elvira Wright, Esther Mae Dubose, Sarah Frances, Geraldine Tillman, Peggy Anderson; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Ann Marie Elmore.
