Zenobia Pearl Bowie

Zenobia Pearl Bowie 93, of 503 Secession Ave, Abbeville, SC. passed at 22383 Chart House Lane, Carrollton, VA., at the home of her granddaughter, Nicole “Niki” Carson. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Thomas and Annie Estella Kennedy. She was a member of St. Mary A.M.E. Church, Mt. Carmel, SC for many years. Ms. Zenobia Pearl was a homemaker.

Ms. Pearl is survived by her grandchild Nicole “Nikki” Carson reared in the home, a niece Cheronda “Lile” Bowie reared in the home. A grandchild, Desmond Tremaine Cunningham of Waterloo, SC. She is also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Willie Bowie, A son; Thomas Calvin Carsow, a nephew; Cleveland Bowie, a niece; patricia Wardlaw, five brothers; Mack Creswell Jr., James Patrick Carson, Thomas Junior Carson, Franklin D. Roosevelt Carson, Willie “Bill” Carson, four sisters; Almeeda Creswell, Hattie Lucille Carson W. Edwards, Estella Mae Bownlee, and Ruth Geraldine Carson.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021, at ST. Mary A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, SC Social distancing is encouraged. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 PM to 8: 00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Richie Funeral Home Public viewing will be on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Funeral Home from 1:00PM to 5:00 PM.
