                              Honoring Schawanna’s Life

Angie was born on August 5, 1969 and she accepted her wings on February 16, 2021 at her residence.  She was a native New Yorker; born and raised in Brooklyn. 

Angie attended Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, NY.  She also lived her young adult years in the Bronx, attending H.S. Graphic Communication Arts from January 1986 to February 1987. 

Angie relocated to South Carolina in 1994, where she began attending St. Peter A.M.E. Church in Abbeville.  She attended nursing school from 1988 to 1989 to become a CNA. 

Angie worked throughout the Upstate of South Carolina at various nursing facilities caring for patients.  In her most recent employment, Angie worked as a Transport Worker for Thorne Ambulance Service of Laurens, SC. 

Angie was a fun-loving person who loved to dance, sing, tell jokes and drive.  She got pleasure and joy helping others. 

Angie leaves to cherish her memories her son, Joseph F. Finley, III of Iva, SC; her mother, Molly Finley of Abbeville, SC; her two sisters, Cynthia Goodwin of Due West, SC and Warennette Finley of the home; two brothers, Joseph F. Finley, Jr. of Abbeville, SC and Aaron Speak of Austin, TX; one aunt, Daisy Goodwin of Due West, SC and one uncle, James A. Finley of Due West, SC.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph F. Finley, Sr.

A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 27, 2021, at ST. Peter A.M.E. Church Cemetery where social distancing will be practiced and a mask must be worn. Public viewing will be on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the funeral home, from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. the family is at the home. Services entrusted to Richie Funeral Home Inc.
